The Style

Peplum shirts are pretty much the best thing ever, especially for me because of my lack of hips. With straight, distressed, cropped jeans, this look really makes me look like I have hips. I love that the peplum is lacy because the girly look of the lace really contrasts nicely with the distressed look of the jeans. With my nude wedges, it makes the look casual and good for a regular summer day. The outfit is of course accompanied by my sunglasses and brown cross-body bag.

Occasion

This was an everyday outfit. I wore it to the vet, to lunch with my great-grandparents and to the grocery store.

I acquired the lace peplum from Marshalls. The distressed cropped jeans are Elle from Kohl's. The nude wedges are Simply Vera by Vera Wang. The messenger bag is Bueno.
