Edwardian White Swiss Dot Net Ruffle Wedding Dress Blouse Skirt |
← Previous | Next → |
This antique Edwardian era white swiss dot net ruffle wedding dress blouse skirt dates from 1905. It is made of a sheer white swiss dotted pleated net fabric, with a cream color sheer silk chiffon ruffle trim edging. This beautiful bridal two piece wedding gown dress has a beautiful bodice blouse, with an unattached silk high neck band collar, ribbon ruffled yoke, a layered ruffle shoulder flounce, 3/4 length sleeves with ruffled flared cuffs, a fitted waist, with hook & eye closure down the back. The blouse measures 14 inches long, with a 22 inch waist, 30 inch bust and 12 inch back. Included is a matching long floor length, layered tiered full skirt, with back train drape and separate cream silk ribbon bow sash belt, with hook & eye closures. The skirt measures 37 inches long in the front, 45 inches long in the back, with a 21 inch waist. Both the blouse and skirt are lined in a cotton batiste fabric. It is in good clean wearable condition, with some fraying of the silk ribbon trim edging, a few tiny holes in the net and some missing closures on the back. This is a wonderful piece of romantically feminine Edwardian bridal wedding antique textile lace art.
