Edwardian Embroidered White Tulle Net Filet Lace Peplum Tea Gown Dress |
← Previous | Next → |
This vintage Edwardian era embroidered white tulle net filet lace peplum tea gown dress dates from 1915. It is made of a sheer white tulle net fabric, with white raised padded satin stitch embroidery work done in floral vine leaf design and filet lace trim inserts. This lovely lace dress tea gown has a short skirt length, with a ruffle flounce collar, short sleeves, fitted peplum petal skirted waist, small side skirt hip panel drape, hook closures on the back and has a sheer net lining inside. The dress measures 43 inches long, with a 26 inch waist and 36 inch bust. It is in good condition, with only a few tiny holes in the net and some small faint rust stains near the back hook closures. This is truly a wonderful piece of wearable antique lace art which could be worn as a wedding or graduation dress!
